Background

Casey Construction is a small general contracting company that has been serving the Puget Sound area since 2011. They’re known for providing friendly, reliable service.

Problem

After nearly a decade without updates, the website had outdated UX and UI that negatively impacted usability and user confidence. A redesign was needed to improve navigation and modernize the overall experience.

The original homepage lacked clear navigation and a call-to-action.

Process

• Conducted a UX heuristic evaluation and competitive analysis to identify issues and prioritize updates.

• Researched the target audience, developing user archetypes and journey maps to guide design decisions.

• Created an updated sitemap and wireframes to structure the redesign, with a focus on clear, logical information architecture.

• Implemented the redesign in the website editor, refining layouts and improving calls to action through iterative feedback to increase clarity and engagement.
