UI & UX

Background

Casey Construction is a small general contracting company that has been serving the Puget Sound area since 2011. They’re known for providing friendly, reliable service.

Problem

Outdated UX and UI were causing usability issues and reducing user confidence. The site needed a redesign to improve navigation and professionalism.

The original homepage lacked clear navigation and a call-to-action.

Process
  • Conducted a UX heuristic evaluation and competitive analysis to identify issues and prioritize updates.

  • Researched target audience to inform design style decisions.

  • Developed user archetypes and journey maps to guide improvements.

  • Created updated sitemap and wireframes to structure the redesign, with a focus on logical information architecture.

  • Implemented the redesign within the website editor, refining layouts and enhancing calls to action to improve user engagement.
